In December 2009 we were called by God to assist a young man who was completely paralysed and abandoned in an old people’s hospital (St Vincent De Paul). Upon meeting the young man for the first time, we asked what his wish was and his reply was... “I want to go home” And so from there, began a two year journey to overcome the hurdles that where in front of us to achieve his wish....our goal. The amounts of monies that were required to be raised on a yearly basis, together with the facilities required and 24 hour staff that were needed made this task seem far beyond our reach and capabilities.

In 2011, Help Malta was awarded a prestigious award for volunteer work. The award was given by the then President of Malta Geourge Abela to Kurt Cachia.
Since December 2009, Help Malta has been working hard to help people in need and changing lives!
